Steering/Tracking Settings

Toe In (At wheel-rim diameter) 1/16 to 3/16 in. (1.6 to 4.8mm)
Camber 0.5 to 1° positive
Castor 1 to 2° positive
King-pin Inclination 6 to 7°

Torque Settings

Steering Arm Attachment Nuts 90 to 100 lb. ft. (122 to 135 N m)
Ball-joint nuts 130 to 150 lb. ft. (176 to 203 N m)

Fit and Wear Limits

Steering Pivot Upper Bearing Outer Race in Axle Press fit: .001 to .0025 in. (.025 to .063mm) interference
Steering Pivot Upper Bearing Inner Race on Pivot Light press fit: 0 to .001 in. (0 to .025mm) interference
Steering Pivot Lower Bearing Outer Race in Axle Press fit: .001 to .003 in. (.025 to .076mm) interference
Steering Pivot Lower Bearing Inner Race on Pivot Light press fit: 0 to .001 in. (0 to .025mm) interference
Hub Drive Shaft to Bushing Clearance .012 to .017 in. (.31 to .43mm)
Axle Shaft to Bushing Clearance .004 to .006 in. (.10 to .15mm)
Axle Shaft End-Float in Bushing .015 in (.38mm) max
Fit of Bushing in Axle Tube End .0005 to .002in. (.013 to .05mm) interference
Tracta Spigot Tongue and Joint Slot Clearance .002 to .004 in. (.05 to .10mm) manufacturing clearance, wear limit .010 in. (.25mm)

Note: Replacement Hub Seals

The original leather hub seals can be replaced with a modern lip seal, check your local bearing and seal supplies for a: 3.68 x 5.12 x 0.5in. NBR double-lip rotary shaft seal.
